How far in advance should I book? 

For weddings, we recommend booking 12–18 months out — especially for peak spring and fall dates in Connecticut. Corporate and private events typically have more flexibility, but the sooner you reach out, the better. Popular dates go fast!

Do you travel for events? 

Absolutely. We're based in New Haven, CT and regularly serve the greater Connecticut and New York area. We also take destination events — internationally included. Whether you're saying "I do" in the Berkshires or Barcelona, we'll be there.

Do you also MC/host the event?

 Yes! Emceeing is a core part of what we do — not an afterthought. From introductions and announcements to keeping the energy flowing between moments, Christie acts as a true host for your event, not just someone playing music in the corner.

Can we make requests? What about a do-not-play list?

 Both, absolutely. Before your event we'll go through a detailed planning process where you share your must-plays, your vibe, and anything you don't want to hear. We take all of that seriously and build your playlist around it.

What genres and styles do you play?

 Everything. Top 40, hip-hop, Latin, Afrobeats, country, classic rock, jazz, reggaeton — you name it. Christie's background in open-format and multicultural events means she's equally at home playing a bachata-heavy celebration or a black-tie gala. If it fits your story, it fits the set.

What equipment do you use? 

We bring professional-grade audio systems to every event. For outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours, we have battery-powered solutions so there's no need to worry about power access. Optional uplighting and other enhancements are available as add-ons.

Do you have backup equipment? 

Yes. We never show up to an event without a backup plan. Equipment failures are rare, but we come prepared so your night never skips a beat.

What's your pricing?

Every event is unique, so pricing depends on the type of event, duration, location, and any add-ons like lighting. We're happy to provide a custom quote — just fill out our booking form and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.

We're planning a bilingual or multicultural event — can you handle that?

 It's one of our specialties. Christie is bilingual and has extensive experience with multicultural celebrations. She'll weave cultural authenticity into every set, from the language of the hosting to the flow of the music.

What happens if something comes up and you can't make our event? 

In the extremely unlikely event of an emergency, we have staff members who are professional DJs for exactly this reason. Your event will always be covered by someone who meets our standard of quality, so you can book with complete confidence.
